For funded startups scaling support

Scale support without losing the customers who got you here.

We help you decide whether to hire, automate, or both. Then we build whichever one is right. It starts with a two-week diagnostic.

The decision

You don't know whether to hire or automate.

Tickets are piling up faster than you can staff for them. Hire too early and you're carrying headcount you can't unwind if growth slows. Automate the wrong conversations and customers start feeling like a number.

Most founders are guessing at this. We've run support and CX teams at three companies, at three different stages. Making this call, then building whatever it points to, is our entire business.

The diagnostic

The questions you're already asking. Answered.

What you'll actually know at the end of two weeks.

Should I hire, automate, or both?
A clear recommendation, based on your actual ticket data, not a guess.
Will my customers feel like they're talking to a wall?
Automation never quietly costs you a relationship. You'll know exactly which conversations always stay human.
Which of the dozen AI tools actually fits us?
A shortlist that fits you, so you skip a dozen vendor sales calls.
What does this actually cost, once I count everything?
A real cost model comparing headcount and AI, using your own numbers.
How do I know what good looks like from here?
A 6 to 12 month roadmap, not just a snapshot.
Do we have to rip out our current tools for this to work?
No. The frameworks are software agnostic, built to fit whatever stack you're already running. If new tooling makes sense, we match it to your setup, not the other way around.
Who do I actually talk this through with?
A live readout with your team, not just a slide deck.

How we work

Embedded, with your best outcome in mind.

No thumb on the scale

The advice holds up because nothing changes what we get paid. A recruiting firm gets paid to recommend hiring. An AI vendor gets paid to recommend software. We're paid the same no matter what we recommend.

Your data stays yours

Nothing about your customers leaves your systems. We work inside your own tools for the length of the engagement, your Zendesk, your Intercom, whatever you already run. Nothing exported. Nothing stored on our side.

What happens next

After the diagnostic, you have three options.

The diagnostic ends with a clear recommendation. Here's what each path looks like.

Run it yourself

The plan is yours. The roadmap, the tool shortlist, and the cost model all work without us. If your team can execute it, you're done. There's no obligation to continue.

We build it

We build what the diagnostic recommended, in 4 to 8 weeks. That means configuring the AI stack, running your first support hires, or both. Most clients land on both.

We stay on

We run your support operation as a fractional leader on a monthly retainer. We watch how the AI performs, adjust flows as your product changes, and run new hires as you grow. When you need a full-time head, we run that hire and hand off.

Start with the diagnostic.

Two weeks. A clear answer. Nothing exported.
